Last Saturday (January 30), almost 50 volunteers ranging from 6 to 68 years old showed up to pick up trash along Highway 60 in Globe, AZ. With everyone pitching in, enough trash to fill a 6-yard dumpster was collected. Thank you to Capstone Mining Company for donating the dumpster. Excellent work everyone and lets keep the trash mobs going! To learn more, visit Gila PROUD on Facebook and keep an eye out for emails from the Cobre Valley Watershed Partnership. Special thanks to Capstone Mining, the Cathy Sanchez-Canez Memorial Foundation, City of Globe, Cobre Valley Watershed Partnership, Gila Proud, Globe High School, and the U.S. Forest Service Globe Ranger Station.
